Ingredients

  • 3 cups ground beef
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 onion, red, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 tbs parsley, chopped
  • 4 tbs olive oil
  • 3 tbs honey
  • 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced beef with the parmesan cheese, eggs, onion, garlic, olive oil, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, paprika and parsley.

  3. Transfer on the pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Mix the honey with the balsamic vinegar and season with a pinch of salt, paprika and black pepper.

  5. Brush the top of the meatloaf with the mixture and bake, uncovered, for about 60 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Slice and serve hot.
