Ingredients

  • 1 bottle sweet red wine

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec

  • 1/4 cup brandy

  • 2 tbs honey

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 1 green apple, chopped

  • 1/2 cup pomegranate, arils

  • 2 tbs olive oil

  • Cinnamon sticks to garnish

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the apple chunks for 5 minutes. Add the honey, stir to coat evenly and let them caramelize for 3-5 minutes.

  2. In a large pitcher mix together the wine, pomegranate juice, and Triple Sec.

  3. Add the sautéed apples, oranges and pomegranate arils and stir. Let the flavors combine for 3-4 hours or overnight.

  4. Serve at room temperature garnished with cinnamon sticks.
